NFL greats at Canadian Super Bowl parties

The National Football League is hosting official Super Bowl XLVI parties for Canadian fans in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. The February 5 parties will include multiple viewing screens, NFL prizing, ‘Taste of NFL Tailgate’ and performances by NFL cheerleaders.

The following NFL greats and musical acts will also participate:

Vancouver:

  • 1985 NFL MVP and Super Bowl XVIII MVP running back Marcus Allen (Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2003)
  • Current Oakland Raiders Receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh (44 touchdowns over 11 seasons, primarily with the Cincinnati Bengals)
  • Musical entertainment provided by Saskatoon’s ‘The Sheepdogs’

Montreal:

  • Four-time Super Bowl champion and legendary San Francisco 49ers safety Ronnie Lott (Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2000)
  • Five-time Pro Bowler Darren Sharper. Sharper earned a Super Bowl ring as a safety with the New Orleans Saints in 2010.
  • Musical entertainment provided by Sherbrooke’s ‘Misteur Valaire’

Toronto:

  • Former Buffalo Bill and NFL all-time sack leader Bruce Smith (Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2009)
  • Former Tennessee Titan and Philadelphia Eagle Jevon Kearse (74 sacks and three Pro Bowl appearances over 11 seasons)
  • Musical entertainment provided by ‘Ian Thornley and Big Wreck’
