Fifteen Canadians will start the 2012 season on NFL rosters.
The Dallas Cowboys (rookie defensive end Tyrone Crawford and veteran long snapper L.P. Ladouceur) and Denver Broncos (offensive linemen Orlando Franklin and Philip Blake) lead the way with two Canadians each.
One third of the Canadian players on NFL rosters this season played college football in the Canadian university (CIS) system: Cory Greenwood (Concordia), Akiem Hicks (Regina), Israel Idonije (Manitoba), Vaughn Martin (Western) and Jon Ryan(Regina).
Three additional Canadians participated in training camps but were recently released: O.J. Atogwe (released by Philadelphia), Austin Pasztor (released by Minnesota) and Joel Reinders (released by New York Giants).
