The NFL searched two continents for passionate, creative fans with a unique sense of style.
Selected fans will represent their team in an NFL ‘Back to Football’ photo shoot.
The contest is a partnership between New Era and the NFL.
Thirty-two stylish and passionate fans – one per team – will be selected from self-submitted photos that showcase how they are bringing their own style to the game and “speaking with their cap”.
Judges are currently evaluating submissions based on individuality, authenticity, pride, humour, creativity and originality.
With the exception of the top-selling Oakland Raiders, the top selling New Era NFL caps in Canada mirror on-field performance. The NFC champion San Francisco 49ers, AFC champion Baltimore Ravens, and perennial contenders New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers follow the Raiders.
The 32 contest winners will be flown to New York City, with a guest, for a four-day VIP experience hosted by the NFL and New Era. During the photo shoot, each fan will be professionally styled in their favorite team’s looks and have the chance to star in New Era’s 2013 NFL ad campaign.
In response to outstanding and growing fan support abroad, the contest (now closed) was open to fans in the United Kingdom and Canada.
The contest is designed to celebrate NFL fans and their passion for football, the teams and fashion.
