The NFL recently brought elements from its interactive NFL Experience to British Columbia.
Seahawks players Doug Baldwin (WR), Red Bryant (DE) and Richard Sherman (CB) joined fans at Ambleside Park, tucked between the mountains and the ocean in West Vancouver.
The fan zone included the Vince Lombardi trophy, interactive throwing, kicking and jumping stations, vertical and broad jump combine tests, performances by the Sea Gals, Seahawks mascot Blitz and the team’s ‘Blue Thunder’ drum line.
“Bringing an authentic NFL fan experience to Vancouver was our way of saying thank you to the very supportive and passionate NFL fans that live in this region,” said Dan Quinn, Managing Director, NFL Canada. “Fans are the engines that drive our league, and not everyone can attend a game, so we appreciate the opportunity to celebrate with them on their home turf.”
“Our next stops will be in Montreal August 17-18, and in Toronto August 23-25.”
In Montreal the mobile NFL experience, or “Touchdown Tour”, will be available free of charge on the grounds of the La Ronde amusement park. In Toronto the tour will be available free of charge at Ontario Place (by the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition).
