Seahawks to celebrate in Vancouver

Russell Wilson is bringing the Vince Lombardi trophy to Vancouver this summer as part of the team’s annual 12 Tour for fans.

The Seahawks 12 Tour is a community outreach initiative named for team’s fans, whose passionate support the players feel is almost akin to having an extra player on the field. The tour includes stops across the Pacific North West, and gives the team to interact with fans from outside the Seattle area.

NFL Canada research shows that the Seahawks, buoyed by a 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, are currently the most popular NFL team in Canada.

The Seahawks retired the number 12 jersey on December 15, 1984, in honor of their fans.

The 12 Tour’s visit to Vancouver (July 4-5, 2014) will include a variety of activities including a Celebrity Flag Football game, Play60 Family Fest, Flag Football Tournament and Interactive Fan Zone.
